Week 3 of Season 4 doesn't give you much room to mess about. The 3-star target sits at 4,000 points for each Trial, and the rough part is that it has to happen in one raid. You can't chip away at it over a few quiet runs. You need the points, then you need to leave alive. That changes how you play. Loadout choices, spare ammo, healing, even the ARC Raiders Items you carry start to matter more, because one bad push near extraction can wipe out twenty minutes of good work.
The biggest mistake I see is players landing in and just reacting to whatever shows up. That might work for casual looting, but it's a poor way to handle these Trials. You want a route in your head before your boots hit the ground. Riven Tides is a strong pick this week, especially around the coast, because the aerial ARC traffic is steady. Fireflies tend to appear often enough that you're not wasting half the raid looking at empty sky. Vaporizers can be a pain, but they're worth folding into the run if you've got cover and a clean angle.
You'll get more done if you stop treating each objective like a separate errand. Clear a group of Fireflies, then move through a nearby loot line. If there's a Raider Cache close by, take it. If an ARC Probe is on the way to the next fight, grab that too. It sounds simple, but it's where most of the points come from. A tidy loop beats a brave sprint across the map every time. You don't need to clear the whole area. You need enough scoring actions packed into a short window, with a path back out that doesn't feel like a death sentence.
Greed ruins a lot of 3-star attempts. You're sitting around 3,600 points, the extraction is open, and then someone says, "One more fight." That's usually when a Vaporizer tags you, or another squad hears the noise and turns up at the worst possible moment. If you're close to 4,000, make the next move count, but don't wander just because the raid still has time left. Once the target is hit, your priority changes. Stop farming. Start leaving. There's no bonus for looking heroic on the way to a failed extraction.
The safest 3-star runs usually look boring from the outside. You land, follow the loop, take the fights that help the Trial, skip the messy ones, and extract before the map gets crowded. That's the real skill this week. Not spraying at everything that moves, but knowing which fights are worth the noise. If you're short on supplies or want to tidy up your kit before another serious attempt, some players choose to buy ARC Raiders Items so they can focus on the route rather than scraping by with a weak setup. Keep it sharp, bank the points, and don't give the raid a chance to steal them back.
